Entertaiment is the activity in which a damaged or disturbed Consciousness indulges to neutralize, escape from, or avoid perception of its own state of boredom or misery. Such activities may be intellectual, memory or pleasure associated and can be of any scale from a personal private entertainment choice to a performance for thousands. It can also involve any media from music, such as a musical performance inspired by a story like Scheherazade from the Persian professional storytelling tradition; to film and to innovative video games.
Entertainment has become so strongly associated with leisure that one common understanding of the idea is fun and laughter. However, many entertainments have a serious purpose, for example, in the various styles of ceremony, party, non secular festival, or satire.
