What is Entertaiment?

Entertaiment is a wide range of activities that are fun or amusing to us. It includes everything from playing games to watching performances, and from a single individual choosing private entertainment to a banquet for two to an entire global audience. Some forms of entertainment, such as the Scheherazade story from professional storytelling tradition, have inspired multiple retellings in different media – including music by composers like Rimsky-Korsakov and Ravel; films by directors Pasolini and Strauss-Kahn; and innovative video games.
