For more than 30 years, Willamette University College of Law has offered students a progressive legal education that prepares them to handle the legal challenges of a changing world. This academic tradition continues with new faculty members joining the College. The new faculty brings expertise in fields of law, including intellectual property, health care law, labor and employment law, and environmental law. This year’s Opening Convocation and graduation ceremonies were highlighted by three renowned speakers. Professors Robin Morris Collin, David Friedman, and Curtis Bridgeman were all recognized for their achievements.
The College of Law will also add a new LexScholars Post-Baccalaureate program. This program will allow students who have completed their bachelor’s degree to take advantage of top careers opportunities. Willamette Law will now also offer the 4+3 Direct Admission Program, which allows applicants to gain admission to the College of Law based on their academic credentials.
